Anyone Else Place a Mail Order for M1 Carbine??

Just curious. Has anyone else placed a mail order for a m1 carbine through the CMP?? I sent mine out via snail mail on Saturday. It should arrive in Anniston, AL on Tuesday - fingers crossed. Today is the first day they are accepting mail orders.

They just announced that they have a limited quantity that they are opening up to mail order on 2/1 (today). Rumor has it that there are around 1300 up for grabs.

Man.... I wish I would have known that this would be so competitive. I woulda, shoulda sent it for Monday delivery. We will see how the Tuesday delivery goes. I will keep you updated.

it sounds like this isn't your first rodeo. I just need some reassurance. I only put SG on my order form. If it comes down to it and they are out of SG's, do you think they will contact me to see if I wanted a FG instead? I hope I make the cut.

Quacker they may call. Their customer service is extremely good.

Assuming that they don't receive direct orders equal to the supply of SG and FG they will methodically go through the list of orders as received and contact you.
