Anyone have experience with a Savage 110? I have never owned a Savage rifle.

A good “budget” option I was reading about on another forum is a Ruger American rifle. It’s like $425 in 300bo, sometimes with an optic.

Pay the stamp, cut its barrel down to 7”, and hog out the plastic stock to fit your can.

Had a 111 in 300wm and wish I’d kept it. I think they’re pretty much the same gun? I’d buy a 110 , Savage is well past criticism imo , especially in long range competition . Yet , they will be lol.
