By spacer kit I assume a poly spacer goes between coil spring and spring seat?
If so, why were you removing your steering knuckle?
Billet spacer, yes, to get the strut out.

Gotcha. I was thinking spring compressor at full droop and slipping the spacer in.Billet spacer, yes, to get the strut out.
did you take the weight off the wheel...or did you do it while jacked up...i already know..anyway get another ball joint or a dremmel make light and slight cuts..otherwise blue tip wrench will be needed. set the wheel hub on a block of wood while removing it to take the weight of the joint..it should come right off mm socket smaller or dremel cut it flat again and rewrench itSo I ordered a 2" spacer leveling kit for my 05 Tacoma and went to install it. It's pretty straight forward and I'm pretty mechanically inclined, or at least I thought I was. Long story short, I rounded off the castle nut on the upper ball joint and can't get the ***** off! If anyone has better knowledge then myself and would like to help I would gladly pay.
Either way I'm probably just gonna pay a shop to get it off for me........
