Anyone into astronomy - telescopes?

No creds, but I grew up with a love of Astronomy, a motorized 6" reflector telescope and a subscription to Harvard College Sky and Telescope magazine (great material for amateur sky watchers). Losing interest as I grew up and out is one of my long time regrets.

We have a Mead 6" that I occassionally haul out for the kids to look thru.
No creds here. I grew up in Florida just a few miles from Cape Canaveral during the Apollo missions. We could always watch the take offs until they were out of sight.
I always wanted to buy a nice quality telescope but time and money seemed to get in the way. One of my old friends had a nice set up years ago. We did look up at the stars several times but it was mostly used to check out the girls sunbathing down the road
