Anyone living near Savannah spotted decent gators?

Hey guys, got picked for zone 8 gator permit. We'll be hunting the Savannah River and doing some daytime scouting when we get down there probably from Houlihan Park. Does anyone live near the area that may have seen some decent gators recently? Thanks

One of the best Zones from my understanding. The Savannah River is covered up in Gator.

I haven't personally but have some buddies that are usually out and about in that general area and I will check with them and let you know if they have.
