I recently got into 3D printing. I bought a used printer and it was really slow and finally died. Circuit board I think. So I bought a new one and it does a much better job but it is still a little slow. Since I am not 100% knowledgeable about all the settings I am no comfortable making a lot of changes in the settings yet.
I have been able to print some cool stuff with it. I just printed some case gauges for a friend to help him with the inspection of his finished ammo.

Prusa just dropped one that is supposed to be the fastest. But it ain't what I consider affordable. I will sacrifice speed for quality. Before you generate code you should have a printer speed/head speed option. Tweak that and make a few test items to see if you like it. Mine can be adjusted up to 200%

Was big into 3d printers but I lost interest. I will get back in once the inkinel and titanium Printers are more affordable

Research and setting experimentation / tweaking is still a big part of getting good prints. Far from plug and play yet !

I probably just need to play around with the speed to figure out what I can get away with. The white boxes in my picture took almost 24 hours to print each one. I am sure that they can be printed faster.

My first attempt at designing anything was to create a file for the Dillon lock ring tabs for the 1050. They work pretty good but I need to find a better material. They don't last long.
