I am not talking about sinking an above ground pool halfway in the ground either.

What type and size?

Average cost?

Was it worth it?

I like to keep from throwing money in the trash, so we have friends with a pool...lol

Last person I know who did one spent around $50k as well. 10' to 3' deep rectangle.

Don't forget about a fence if you don't already have one.

I just had one done. 16x35. Fiberglass. Saltwater set up. We had a bunch of extra concrete and deck work done though. Without the extras, $50k would be about on point.

Ours was about $60k, but with all post lights, 5' fence, all concrete work, some deck work, 100% start to finish.

It was well worth it. It is like being in a vacation every time I'm out there. It has been awesome to host parties. The dirt part is where we will be putting in a playground as well.

We are gathering all our quotes and it's looking close to 50k, but we need a bunch of trees removed plus some extra grading as our yard is sloped a good amount.
