Anyone put an in ground pool in lately?

Cost depends on a lot of factors and I would not do it if you aren't staying a long time. Not everyone wants a pool and houses with pools are sometimes hard to sell. I had a pool once and thought it was way more trouble than it was worth. After that house we joined a country club and it was a better value in my opinion. Gave us access to a pool and a lot of other amenities without the headaches. Where you live there are probably "yacht clubs" on every corner!

Just sharing an old photo.

Wow, of course mine is a liner, depending on size too. Deepest on this is 6 ft.

The one I was looking is 16x40 8ft deep. I'm also looking at a tallman pool about the same size 16x43 8ft, it's 27k but then I have to hire all the contractors to install it with their assistance. Hopefully I can save a few thousand doing it this way, if not I'll probably have to get a non diving pool. Boo!

I've seen quite a few filled in and turned into gardens.

Neighbor drained his to clean it and like a fool drained too much and it popped up three feet. A week with a jackhammer and a couple trucks of dirt and he has weeds where the pool used to be.
