Moving a 1" slate pool table

They also use wax to level across the seams between the slate pieces, I’ve seen them moved as discussed and fracture/disturb the wax causing width wise ridges under the felt from the table flexing. If it’s due to be recovered, I’d take it apart myself, set it aside and have it reassembled & recovered in a quality felt if it’s worth it to you. I played for years and had a 4.5x9’ that I loved several times.

Is that a typo or do you mean like “BattleSausage- corner pocket”?

🤣please don’t edit

My pool table was given to me but I had to move it. Fortunately it was next door. It took me a couple of weeks to reassemble and level it. I used Rockhard between the slate pieces. There’s no way I would move a slate table without disassembling it. Eventually I will need to replace the carpet underneath it, not looking forward to dissembling/reassembling…….

As mentioned, if you can move it without flexing it, it'll probably be ok. The slate can crack at the seams if you aren't careful. They are waxed to make the joint smooth, but its not glue.
