AR’s What brands to stay away from?

I'd probably combine Gucci A and B, move a few from Mid Tier A into the Gucci block..

for sure some companies move around over the years (Noveske, LMT, etc), but it was educational to look at the perception of quality vs price that the chart implies.

It's clear this guy is a little off base. He has Grey Ghost in Mid tier A and Aero Precision in Mid tier B and they are a partnership. Also I wouldn't consider Barret in Mid tier A. Rainier Arms has many different brands and a lot of their ultra match barrels are top notch. I don't known if they are trying to be funny but the PSA to Gucci is like putting a Chevy Chevette between Bugatti and Ferrari. That's cute!

100% agree Greg. I think you should put together a "Vess Approved" ranking list of all these brands.

That's budget? What's a Mid grade build cost $4,500.00...

it cost the same or a little less than a complete DD or BCM rifle...that was as low as I was willing to go for a build.

I was going to go radian/proof for the build...would have prolly added $1k.

I build my own so I was just curios. I don't skimp. Everything I have is payed for. My car and house included. Can you say that? I would want your debt for nothing.
