AR-15 Lesson: What is your Jack of All Trades?

Here's my only AR, so it kinda has to do all the jobs.
I'm debating if I want to add a bipod or not. That, handstop,sling, and light are really the only things left I'm considering adding but I also don't want a rifle that is super heavy. Is a bipod worth it with just a strikefire with the 2x mag adaptor?
I want to build another upper with nice glass and have a bipod on that but that won't be for a long time, but since this is a do it all AR would a bipod be a good addition to it? And if I had a bipod, would I have enough room on the 13in rail for a handstop?

I'm curious...I've seen those type of handguards on several different ARs. What exactly is their benefit?

Err my current go-to rifle. Pretty basic... 12" 1/7 upper,TRS-25, "cleaned-up" mil-spec trigger, T2 buffer, Kestrel 556 suppressor, Surefire M951 with Malkoff upgrade.

For me, I think it feels much better in the hands than a quad rail. You can mount your rails sections anywhere the slots are as opposed to just the 12,3,6,9 o'clock positions like on a quad rail. There may be others and some may not think those benefits are that important, but for me that's why I like it. But I'm also a big fan of how some of the quadrail style handquards look like the fortis rev.

There are few more complete and few more in the build process. One of them will work.

I have a billet one in the works, and a Colt CRE18 Expert not pictured. If I had to use one for all those needs listed in the first post it would be the Colt on top. It has a Nikon 4-12x40 now and a set of 45 degree off set iron sights. It's ties for second on the accuracy chart. It was a rebuild I did a few months ago. I put a Bravo Company SAM-R barrel on in it ( Service Advanced Marksman). Last time I took it out when I put the scope on it put 12 shots it the diameter of a dime. That or the Colt CRE 18 Expert. Either on of the Colt are the most accurate guns I have ever shot. The one at the bottom will shoot .35 groups on regular basis but it's a 24 inch barrel job and would not be suited for CQB. One is a 7.62x51 so I believe I have all the basis covered from long range to close up work. He He He.

Id roll with this 10.5" without hesitation as well. Tried and true irons are fine anywhere Id have to be.
