So i picked up a mag today for 10 bucks at a pawn shop in BFE. Its steel, the finish seems strong, and constructed nicely. Comparable to an HK maritime as far as thickness, fold, and finish. It has absolutely no markings, save for a 6 or a 9 on the underside of the follower. I think its old because it had one of those crappy tilty black followers. Watcha think?

It fits the profile, and inserts in my AR, but i didnt try to cycle it yet. I dont have a huge amount of experience with .223 rifles from other countries, but i cant imagine it being that close and not compatible. If its not an AR mag, its not domestic.

It's an inexpensive US made ProMag "ban era" mag if memory serves.
