AR not chambering next round

Go back to buffer and spring. If you don't like the noise put a thin, thin layer of grease towards the rear of the spring to dampen vibration, It does the same thing for .03 cents. Start with standard weight buffer.

Where is the cartridge when it hangs? Half in the front of mag and half out of just shy of complete chambering? I know that some stuck in the front of the mag is not a complete chambering ( it's a in- betweener) problem but it speaks.

I have had several builds just come about an inch to three quarters of an inch from fully chambering and it was the viton ring under the extractor. It was just too tight and didn't allow it to chamber around intermittently.

Also I would start with returning all of the standard carbine parts back on the rifle. Standard buffer spring and what else has been thrown on there.

Also if you're going to measure the gasport in the barrel before you open that up do this. Loosen the set screws on the gas block and see if it slides up and down the barrel very easily with a little play in it. That can cause an nasty gas leak because it's not fitting properly. Then you'll find yourself opening up the gas port on your Barrel to compensate for an inferior gas block. Just a couple things I thought I would throw out there.

Also Daniel Defense guarantees their uppers for the lifetime of the product so you could send that off to them which is very close to you and they can make sure everything is solid on that in. Then you could just work on the lower if that was the problem.

Take a dremel or file and file down the front of the magazine just a touch
I had a couple of 40 rounds Pro Mags that I had to do that on. Wouldn't feed woof a damn. I had to trim off quite a bit too. The bullet tip just got hung up on a little corner of the front lip. They work fine now but the didn't function from the manufacturer. You can see on both sides I had to grind that little upward section there. It's kind of uneven from one side of the other but you get where I had to grind at.
