AR Pistol Legal Question

You can do whatever you want to the upper without fear. The legalities come into play when you involve the lower receiver.

So as stated earlier, My wife bought me two AR lowers but were both out of spec. Called the company today and they sent two out. Got the tracking number today as well. Lets get to the point, I want to build an AR pistol. Can I do this on a strip lower without paying a tax stamp? Did not know the exact law regarding this and wanted to double check. Additionally, what is other good calibers for an AR. Thanks for the help.

Thanks , long as you don't slap a stock or a Vertical front grip on them you are pretty much free to do whatever ya want with them

Here is what I have so far,

Daniel Defense 11.5" barrel
The Troy 11" free float rail is inbound
The upper inbound
And the lower kit should be here in a couple days

Just a BCG, and charging handle to order. Once I have finished moving I am going to stamp it and throw on the CTR stock
