AR Scope....

I am trying to find a good scope for an AR with a lighted reticle.

Noting crazy fancy, just something which would provide a good field of view- and maybe be used up to 150-200 yards.....

(A friend of mine has something called an Optisan Mamba which is about what I am looking for, but they don't seem to be made anymore.)

I was looking at the same price range as you and was looking at the Nikon p-223 series, Bushnell rifle scopes, ad Primary Arms scopes. After seeing this though I may be going with a Mamba

I do really like my pal's mamba. Seems to hold zero fine- and the lighted reticle is well done. That deal which includes the mount seems like a real good one.

Of course-if I won the lottery, I would probably snap up a trijicon which doesn't need a battery, but as things stand those suckers cost more than my rifle.....
