Interesting. And you’re sure you’ve got the gas dialed down to where it needs to be?

A malfunction like that is typically bolt outrunning the magazine. Or just an anemic magazine spring.

Unless there’s just something janky with the lower geometry.

Only does it with Magpul mags? More than one Magpul mag, or you only have one?

I only have the one as I was testing it to get away from metal mags. I haven’t tried anything other mags besides that and the ASC.

If it’s doing it hand-cycling… Id be inclined to say there’s something up with that lower. Very strange.

If it only does it with that Magpul, I'd try some other mags from Magpul and other companies. Could be as simple as that.

It’s an 80% that I ordered awhile back from LJ’s at the recommendation from a friend. Though I did do some digging and found some people have had trouble with them.

It is supposed to be DPMS pattern, but since the whole aft 80% they’ve had to stop selling lowers.

Just sell it on the ODT for 3X what you have invested, let someone else deal with it.
