I just picked up a LWRC and I'm trying to removal the butt stock but I'm having some trouble. I know you're just suppose to lift up (gun upside down) on the lever and it should just slide out but it won't clear the buffer tube all the way. I tried turning the screw on the lever but it doesn't seem like it does anything.

Any help would be appreciated!

You're not pulling up hard enough. I don't think the screw matters.

Yup, because that's how it got on there. There's a roll pin through the donut on the screw, if you did need to adjust it you would knock the pin out and back off the washer donut thingy.

It looks like LWRC adjusted the "donut" so that it won't clear the buffer tube without taking out the roll pin because the lever won't go up far enough and I've pulled as hard as I could.

You have to pull up at the pin side, not the lever side...Pull the lever up all the way, then grasp where the pin is and pull hard. It will move a little more and then slide off.
