Are and our are not the same and don't have the same meaning...

I don't know why but people using "loose" interchangeably with "lose" drive me insane. I'm sure they're good people but it just rubs me the wrong way.
All of these drive me berserk because I hear the word when I'm reading it and being dyslexic it totally screws up the thought...
 
I worked at a Fortune 500 company for 16 years then offshoots for another 8. I've seen emails from SVPs and EVPs who had English as their native tongue, write ridiculously, grammatically incorrect emails or misspell commonly used words. It was embarrassing. I stopped correcting them after my first year there. They didn't seem appreciative of my lessons.
Fallout from the loss of secretaries (executive assistants, etc.) and typed memos.
You get to see them without the required filtering.
