Are AR braces hard to come by? Or why so pricey?

Seems to me like pistol braces are sailing for way more than they should be. Why’s that? I been outta the loop/market since the ban was struck down a couple weeks ago…

Well....there's still a question in my mind on some things. Like adding one to a Shockwave, which is an odd bird built and sold under a very narrow definition that allows it to get by length and weapons classifications standards already in effect.

Supply and demand. I’m guessing a lot of brace makers stopped or drastically reduced production still waiting for the final ruling (it could still go to SCOTUS) along with suppliers not wanting to get stuck with a lot of inventory.
