Are Eastman Gunshows worth going to? Updated.

I only go to Eastman's Gun Shows to see what people are selling and to have something to do with my son, every once in a while I find something Decent.
I like Gun Runners and RK over Eastman's.
Eastman's gun show is where I found out they set pricing on items, also that is where I met someone from Palmetto State Armory named Joe McCallum (I still have his card) a few years ago, he had ammo out cheaper than anybody else and while talking to him an old guy with white hair came over and told him to raise his prices as other venders were complaining.
so I bought all he had laid out in 223.

They really are a hit and miss. Cant find any good deals like we use to. All depends on the day I reckon

Agree 100%. The "gwinnett show" a couple times a year used to be a never miss. In the later days, it turned into a flea market and sparce offerings. I remember a time when one could go there and see authentic 98K rifles, green label ar's and nib pistols by the hundreds......ah the good old days.

Flea market vibe for sure, last one I went to back during the "craze" of 2013, I heard a couple vendors complaining they were not selling and if it continued they were going to pack up and leave early, as I looked at their items for sale they had 550 ct. 22lr for $85 and stripped lowers for $299, come on what did you expect?

Eastman shows are not worth the entrance fee. As stated above by Will4me, Eastman sets price floors and expects the vendors to sell at those inflated prices or higher. Stay away.
