Asking for some direction

I would have my insurance company subrogate it, but not sure if they will at this stage of the game. It wouldn't hurt to try. I've had my insurance do this several times in the past with good results, but I brought it to them before dealing with the other insurance company myself.

If you have full coverage on your vehicle you should have uninsured motorist coverage and that should cover any other damage. Depending on your agent he should be able to have it fixed. Then let your insurance company and Progressive hash it out. That's why you pay for uninsured motorist is if the other driver does not have enough coverage to fix your car. As I said most folks don't know this, but lawyers do. I do know this for a fact until having gone through using mine.

You thinking of under-insured, not uninsured.
