If that's male, maybe he was smart enough to use electrolysis to remove his facial hair before adding the decorations. Then again, looks like his skin has seen the hot end of a butane torch .

Yep. I was wondering how he could or if he would wash his face or shave, but probably that is not a priority for him/her/them/it. Each to his own. Thanks.
