At the drive thru window: "Please pull up and wait, sir."

They're timed as to how long a customer is stationary at each point in the process, why not pull up ?
Well mostly because it's a drive through. Two things are SUPPOSED to happen at the drive through. 1) You hand them the money. 2) They hand you the food. Pulling forward and waiting longer was never part of the transaction. Especially if nobody else is in line.

I saw a slip of paper at a McDonald's that they handed out with each order at the drive-through window.
It said: "if you had a great experience at McDonald's, call this number and participate in our survey."

So they're blatantly putting their fingers on the scale, when it comes to customer satisfaction.
I've seen them with tip gars on the window ledge at the drive through......

I refuse to do drive throughs because I KNOW they're gonna **** something up. So then I won't know it until I get home ( I don't eat in my car) OR I'll wind up having to go inside anyway.
There are plenty of places/certain locations that I don't go to anymore just because they decided during Covid to be drive through ONLY. But then they either rode that out as long as they could or they're still doing it. That's why I don't go to Captain D's in Perry or Chic Filet. Well actually I don't go to Chic Filet for several reasons. But anyway we HAD a built from the ground up new Hardee's in Perry back around 2019 and it's already out of bidness and has been for over a year. Last time I tried to go there the doors were locked and some employee with a month full of food sitting in the dining area told me it was drive through only. I flipped him off with both hands and told him to choke on it. But at least they failed like they deserved to.
