Well mostly because it's a drive through. Two things are SUPPOSED to happen at the drive through. 1) You hand them the money. 2) They hand you the food. Pulling forward and waiting longer was never part of the transaction. Especially if nobody else is in line.They're timed as to how long a customer is stationary at each point in the process, why not pull up ?

Well it WAS Arby's so you were already compromised when you pulled in there.Believe me, I thought about that. I double checked everything before I ate it.
I've seen them with tip gars on the window ledge at the drive through......I saw a slip of paper at a McDonald's that they handed out with each order at the drive-through window.
It said: "if you had a great experience at McDonald's, call this number and participate in our survey."
So they're blatantly putting their fingers on the scale, when it comes to customer satisfaction.
They got your money, now they don't care.....Only thing worse are the designation wait spaces. Pretty much like a black hole. You pull up and park then they forget about you.
YepWait, what? Some places have designed parking spaces for you to go and wait?
The quality of people has gone down in this entitled new worldDrive-thru's suck! It became very apparent during covid that customer service is NOT a high priority, least of all at a fast-food joint. I get that this is an entry level job for most but WTH!
