My dad's grandmother was Muscogee \Creek indian . Her name was Vashtie Ola .

There's native American on my mom's side too ,but I'm not sure because they never discussed it with us kids.

My dad's family came to Campbell county from North Carolina.

My mom's family is from Ga & Lousiana.

Back in the fifties when I was in the Army. One guy asked the other are you an Indian? He said I'm a Semihole. The guy said what the heck is that, you mean Seminole. He said no because, I'm a half a$$ed Indian.

1/4 Cherokee, 1/4 Choctaw, the rest is European as I can figure (English origined last name and a bit of Irish red in the beard it seems). I won't be willingly giving anyone my DNA to analyze, no thanks.
