ATI 1911 - $329.99

Bud's has the same gun for $366.00 (cash equivalent) with free shipping. This one is $348.99 with shipping added. It's still $17.00 cheaper than Bud's. So how exactly are you being "bilked?" :noidea: Deal killer...

We pay for shipping silly ODTers, whether it itemized or not. We, the consumer, pay for everything, everywhere, every time. That's how it's always worked.

Of course.
No one is debating you don't pay shipping because ,of course, it's calculated into the final price despite the "free shipping" tag.
Reread my post. I am just saying All of Classic Firearms shipping is stupid high when comparing the same item being shipped elsewhere.

Those items being shipped from other vendors are just burying the shipping cost or part of it into the price. Classic is not "stupid high." They're actually a little island of honesty in what is otherwise an ocean of lairs.

Not sure that $20 is crazy on shipping these days.

Since they are FFLs they can use USPS, but even the 'slow' Priority Mail these days is $7-8 for any package no matter how small or light. And USPS makes them use the more expensive 'Express' service for handguns.

I doubt anyone here could mail something that heavy, with all the restrictions handguns have on shipping them, for much less than $20.

Exactly. Ship a handgun and see how much it costs. The volume dealers get a discount, but it's not that much of one.

Grabagun has the same pistol on sale for $10 more, but flat rate shipping of $7.99 for firearms.
Saves $1!
