****Atlanta Falcons**** And The NFL In General

I blame it all on Shanahan myself....A 2 time Pro Bowl QB jus don't start automatically suckin like that.

And theres like only 4 ppl. on Defense that actually know how to freakin tackle.....and teams have obviously learned to run their plays away from them.

I completely agree. I think Shanahan's scheme is killing the Falcons right now. Ryan is being asked to run plays that are new to him and that don't fit his strengths. I believe Shanahan will be gone after this season if not before.

The Falcons have lost five straight games and six of seven during a stretch that has seen the team fail to score more than 21 points in any game.

That’s erased any positives from their 5-0 start to the season and it has led to criticism of the team’s offense from both inside and outside of the organization. Much of that criticism has been pointed at quarterback Matt Ryan and offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, who are working together for the first time this year.

The struggles and the criticism haven’t affected Ryan’s optimism about forging a successful partnership with Shanahan.

“I believe we’re going to win a lot of games together,” Ryan said on 680 The Fan, via the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “Kyle and I have done a great job or working together all year. I feel really good about where we are at. Our production hasn’t been there, but in terms of plays and all that kind of stuff, I feel really good about how Kyle and I have worked together this year.”

The results haven’t matched those good feelings, which is keeping the win total down and any thoughts of an extended partnership between the two men may be premature until things start moving in a different direction.
