****Atlanta Falcons**** And The NFL In General

I don't agree. Special teams are a big part of flipping the field even if no points are scored. One decent punt return or one kick coverage mistake can change the game.

I agree with you on this!!!
I do hate to see all the injuries that take place on ST tho. I would never have any of my stars out there. Too risky.

I can't believe Hageman is still here myself....what a bust.
Love to see us get a BIG 330+lb. DT that can dominate....whether through FA or the draft.
Def. need another DE to replace Freeney as well.

The guy the Falcons should target is Sheldon Richardson (Jets). He's a malcontent, has gotten into trouble a bunch of times, and the Jets want to move him badly, so he'll be cheap (probably a 4th or 5th rounder). But he's also a genuine talent. Add Richardson to a line that already has Beasly, and they will wreak havoc.

The Jets locker room is a mess, exactly the wrong place for a guy like Richardson, who is struggling to walk the line. I think the Falcons locker room would do wonders for Richardson. He's still on his rookie deal. If a one year experiment works, they could move to a long term deal and the Falcons would have a great D-line for years to come.

He would be good. But the falcons dont pick up or draft players with off the field issues. I would definitely give up a 5th rounder for him just to see if he can get his act together.
