Pass rush is looking a lot better, but they're running some different defensive looks than I have seen before. Lots of 5 and 6 men at the line. Pretty aggressive.
Penix is having some trouble dealing with the noise, but he will settle down.
RBs looks good.
Not saying Falcons are real contenders, but they're not bad either. So it's moving in the right direction.

All Falcons get are field goals. Not able to finish a drive with a TD.
At least they are putting some pressure on the Minnesota QB.
Falcons SHOULD have a substantial lead at this point. Hope they can hold on, not let the Vikings get a TD and pull away. Both are struggling to finish drives.

Falcons looked good on the road, in a tough setting.
Recent draft picks are looking good. I didn't think Pennix would be good, but he's showing a lot of potential. Holds the ball too long at times, but lots of young QBs do.
Meantime...they have a pass rush! It's almost like a fever dream. Jeff Ulbricht, for all of his baggage, knows how to coach a defense.

At least the new kicker got the job done. Any FG misses would have been devastating, since the offense couldn't punch it in for TDs until late.
Perhaps Koo needs some time off to mentally regroup and work on his mechanics.

Another good example of why I don’t participate in football gambling. I can’t get past my dislike of The Falcons to objectively look at any game they play.
