The Atlanta Falcons have released former Pro Bowl kicker Younghoe Koo and signed Parker Romo to their 53-man roster. Koo was benched for the team's 22-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings in favor of Romo, who was signed to the practice squad last week.

What? Tim Mazzetti and Mick Luckhurst weren't available?

All joking aside, I hate to see them cut Koo as he's had a great career here. But something has to be done, since it's such a valuable position. As we saw in the TB game, his miss cost us going to overtime.

Along with Morten Anderson, Luckhurst and Matt Bryant, Koo is at the top in Falcon kicker stats.
