Not so long ago, the Falcons were sure they’d hired the right man. Even as his team has fallen to pieces, Quinn remains bright-eyed and intense. Today, though, we wonder if those eyes don’t bear a resemblance to a deer in the headlights. Forgive me for mixing sports, but he reminds me of Fredi Gonzalez during the Braves’ Epic Collapse of 2011, which kind of fits. Because this collapse is epic, too.

Tony2X you asked me earlier why I did not like McDaniels... sorry, I was out of town all week.

I do not hate him, I just do not feel that his type of offense is condusive to what the "talent" we currently have would allow. Additionally, he is a fool if he leaves NE without a HC job.

At the end of the day nobody will win here because the 2-deep talent is just not there. I hate it, but we will not and should not win another game this year.

Can't stand Cam Newton. At what point did we go from having some class in victory to announcers chuckling about how much "fun he's having". The guy is an ego-maniac. He'd be a perfect politician. He's literally the only person in the NFL I dislike.

Now we know: Falcons lack talent

There can be little doubt about the talent deficiency now that the Falcons have flopped for three seasons in a row. Quinn quickly came to see it and used his roster authority to remedy it. Since getting the job in February, he’s jettisoned 11 players drafted by Dimitroff from 2008-14.

In April, Jason Lisk of The Big Lead noted that of the 27 players drafted by Dimitroff from 2009-12 one player, Julio Jones, started at least eight games in 2014. That’s damning because those players should have been in their primes. None of Dimitroff’s six-man draft class of 2012 plays for the Falcons anymore, and four of those players are healthy street free agents.

Hankerson was a cancer IMO, glad he's gone. There are alot of other tumors that need to be cut out as well...
