Because it is about political public persuasion. The majority of America is afraid of guns and people with them. We are odd, different, and easily made to be something we are not. A ton of people OC will have the manipulating media moguls and politicians showing pictures of groups of OC people and they will be saying, "Do you want this everywhere you go? " And the scared public will say "No Way!!"

Its about Perception. OC will not be seen by the public the way we would understand.

Actually, staying on track politically is the point most of us are making. The sad part is.. when a few guys with ARs cause a media debacle that could have been avoided, those same guys, who felt they needed to flex their biceps, will find someone other than themselves to blame for the trouble they caused and the Win they gave the gun protesters and ban advocates.
