Awesome Leupold customer service

I got off the phone with Leupold customer service after finding out my new Savage edge rifle has a screw spacing that wont accept current manufacture 1 piece bases. (not the same as the 110 series but 2 piece will fit.) I explained my desire to use dual dovetail bases that are no longer manufactured by Leupold for Savage rifles. I also explained that a pair of the front bases from their standard 2 piece set would do the trick but buying 2 sets was cost prohibitive. Garth at Leupold customer service understood and told me that if I would buy a standard set he would send me another front in the mail so I could have the set I wanted
