Awesome/random picture YOU have taken thread (G RATED ONLY!)

It actually has six more motors and props behind the airfoil…. the ones on the front articulate from vertical to horizontal for propulsion…. the ones in the back are "fixed" for constant lift….

There's nothing better than getting paid to look out the window....

So forward motion and the airfoil do not create enough lift to keep it in the air? 😳

Walking around this thing, it doesn’t appear the airfoil is adequate to provide enough lift at slower speeds…. especially when transitioning from forward to vertical motion… but the motors up front are enough to provide necessary forward thrust….

I like innovation, but is this project funded by the taxpayers or privately funded?

My understanding for the static display at Peachtree/Dekalb Airport this week (rather than the EAA fly-in at Oshkosh going on at the same moment) was to invite Atlanta area banks and businesses to view the project with hopes of generating investment…. the manufacturer is based in Covington area….

Who is the manufacturer in Covington?

From the video, the rear props don't spin when in forward flight. Just for added / balanced lift.
And, only 2 blades. So probably just to add a little balance.
