So I got in the woods on 11/12 for an afternoon hunt after visiting with some friends at camp and waiting on the rain to pass. I bumped two deer walking in. About 4:30ish this big knarly dude come cruising by. Neck swollen, tarsals stunk and didn't make a sound.
And the next morning 11/13 the deer activity was crazy at my stand. Several smaller bucks bouncing around dogging a couple doe pretty hard. And then this 9 shows grunting his head off, neck swollen and tarsals not showing a bit of discoloration or smell.
Been an awesome season with several blessings!
