All I can say is contact your Congress Critter. Write, call, e-mail, etc.

Even if background checks passed, how many actual prosecutions do you think would come out of this new law? Probably about as many as have come out of refusals under the present law. Essentially all this will do is make it harder for me to trade with guys on here and elsewhere.

They should more accurately call themselves Mayors Against Legal Gun Ownership.
