Backyard black coyote video from a few hours ago...

What a show this morning! Eating breakfast I saw the black coyote out on the now dried up beaver pond (that's a separate story). I could not believe it stayed out there so I grabbed the camera. Now this is with a still camera over 100 yards away so not the greatest video but you get the picture. They stayed out there and played for at LEAST a half hour. The black one is the one I'm "trying" to wait for winter to take to have his hide tanned. At one point, all three were together in such a spot that one load of "Dead Coyote" I think I could have gotten all three in one shot. 8-)

See the 'trying to wait for winter' comment. Plus the kids were at the school bus at the time. Probably not the best time for gun shots to be going off.

I saw a Black Yote this past Saturday about 2:30 p.m. It was moving around pretty freely in Smyrna.
