I want some ameracaunas, Rhode Island reds, barred rocks, black sex links, would like a rooster to watch the flock since I have a hawk in the back. Where and when is the swap meet?

If I get chicks, how big of a "tote" should I keep them in till they are 8 weeks?
i used a pack and play until they were about 5-6 weeks then they went into the coop
I have an ameracauna and it's one of my favorite chickens, that one and my silver laced wyandotte. i dont have any of the others you're looking for so i cant say a lot about them. i would like some barred rocks for meat birds
Lol, the wife would flip if I tried to use the pack and play, I do have some huge tote bins from the move though
I'm looking for just egg birds, my youngins would cry if we had meat birds

it was the only thing i could come up with. worked great though. one thing i was unaware of was that chickens can "fly" after about a week......came home one day and there was a chicken standing in my hallway. them things are hard to catch!

I just picked up my first chicks today, I got 2 barred rocks, 2 silver lace a rhode red and a black sex link. Building the coop this weekend then I want to find some that are already laying, anyone have some they want to sell?
