Bakelite Dying or Cerakoting Service?

I'm thinking of possibly adding some Magpul AK furniture onto my 74... but wanting it dyed or cerakoted to look like Bakelite. Anyone know of somewhere, local or online, that can provide this service?

I've been requested to do it a few times, and all I can say is if I'm gonna spend the time, money, and colors experimenting to make something that truly looks good and resembles Bakelite its gonna cost way more than just buying real bakelite.

I know there's companies that do it, I've seen cerakoted fake Bakelite furniture at Atlantic firearms before. But again, it was nearly the price of real bakelite. So I just don't get the point.

Having said that, if you wanna pay double the price for real bakelite for me to fake some for you I'm your guy

If you want it to look like bakelite, just get bakelite. Bakelite'esque Magpul furniture would look terrible

I tried this a while back on a grip. Forgot the technique, but came out good for me, as a total amateur.
