I've had a couple blood tests in recent years where the doctor expressed concern. I saw the blood test results and had my own concerns. Research, research ,research, then worry, worry, worry. Then I look at my own history in the on-line results reported by the lab, and realize my numbers have not changed at all. The so-called "normal range" changed dramatically!

I was healthy until some genius decided the normal range wasn't good enough. 20 years of healthy living thrown right out the window, LOL!

You've got to be your own medical advocate these days.

I had a “doctor” prescribe me Lipitor because my cholesterol level was “slightly elevated”. When I advised him I was doing 100 continuous pushups a day, he took the prescription from me, wadded it up and tossed it in the trash. He said,”If you can do that then you don’t need any medication.” I’m now 68 1/2 and still on NO MEDICATIONS.
