Beater EDC/CCW Thread....

I have posted this pic on ODT a couple of times but this is my “ankle” gun or one i just slip into a back pocket of jeans, etc.,
I really like this sawed off, bobbed .44spcl from Charter. It has a great trigger and has been polished for DA shooting.
It is an old Bulldog my dad had “customized” and carried on his ankle when he worked the Post Office for many many moons. It has “character”.

I don't really think it's fair to call them beaters when they have such a great history. My question is was he a carrier for USPS?

So Southside, you ever think about selling that beater Detective Special? I want one bad but I can't pay the premium price most folks ask for them.

I have a Colt Agent and a Smith pre-lock Model 637-1 J-Frame that are both beaters. Smith is usually my summer carry. Easy back pocket carry.

Gen4 G22 bought new from country boys. It’s been ran over, buried, tossed, used to beat rusted deer stand ladder sections apart multiple other transgressions against it and still 100% reliable. It lives in my truck now cause I’ve switched to CZ!
