It does what a tool should do. Nice!!!

I have a Colt Agent and a Smith pre-lock Model 637-1 J-Frame that are both beaters. Smith is usually my summer carry. Easy back pocket carry.

My carry is a 642 or occasionally a Glock 43. I wouldn't classify them as beaters although I do have a beater 36 that was retired from carry duty when I got the 642.

S&W 457, .45ACP. Carrying it right now, AIWB, on vacation. Magazine in the gun holds 7 rounds. The spare mag is a magazine for the larger 4516 and holds 8 rounds.

Removed the magazine safety, tuned the trigger, installed Trijicon sights. Strip of skateboard tape on the frontstrap. Ammo is 230grn Speer Gold Dot.

My old S&W 442. Was my first BUG in my street cop days, eventually had it Cerakoted.

Tuned up the action, knocked the corner off the front and rear of the cylinder, chamfered the cylinders, opened up the rear sight groove. Ammo is Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel 135grn +P. Holster is from FIST. Very rigid leather with a steel clip on the other said.

These are basically modeled after Glock. I hear they are actually really good guns at a fair price.

Nice. What is “Beater 1” a model 30, 31 or 36 or? Looks awesome good work. And what’s Beater 2 gonna be a model 60 or?

1st one was a 36? Had to sell it second one was a 642, had to sell that one as well. Model 642 - 1 did the same revamp polish and unfortunately had to sell that one too. No beaters in the house and everything else was destroyed in a tragic boating accident

, that's where both of mine came from and after a little bit of spring work and a heck of a lot of polishing they don't deserve to be strapped around your ankle
