Can someone post the price for a Glock 19 and the equilivent Springfield model (4 inch 9mm) would like to know if its worth my time to drive 1 1/2 hours to Bening.

I know the PX Glock price is high. Funny as anyone that can buy at the PX is qualified for the blue label discount. AAFES probably did not get recognized by Glock as the right type of distributor. I was shocked at this when the Ft Stewart PX started selling guns. Haven't been to the gun counter in a long time so it may have changed...
Odds are nit worth trip, im at ft rucker often. theyve had guns for 2 years now and ive yet to find one I bought prices not real special at all.
Yeah I know that typically they are a bit high. Prices right now are a different story and who knows when they are going to come back down. Unfortunately the idiots are setting an inflated market rate that may last for quite a while. For the foreseeable future, the px prices sound awesome!
Springfield 9mm 4 inch prices? Reason I ask is I will have to get my father-in-law to give me new gun if the prices are right.

I remember when Plasma TV's did the same thing. People lost their freaking minds and the prices skyrocketed overnight. The exchange stayed the same. I'm almost positive that they can't go up because they have agreements with the manufactures because of tax/duty free legalities. The manufacturers get the benefit of a guaranteed number of units sold at an agreed upon rate. It can't just change because of a gun ban scare. I'm pretty sure all of this is correct.
As of 2 days ago their glock prices were in the high 500's, didn't look at the xd's, and their mp shield 9mm was only 410.
