That's fairly close range I think right? I would get a Glock, they are more accurate than people give them credit for, hitting a bowling pin with a G17 should not be hard to do.

Those CZ's are nice. I had a SP01 Phantom that I really liked but I traded it. I am going to be looking for a competition gun in 9mm as well to shoot pins with. I'm more leaning towards a fullsize 1911 in 9mm though. Only because I carry a 1911 and I figure it will let me practice with the same platform that I carry without the cost of shooting .45ACP.
They also have them at Norcross Gun Club the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm. Several members here regularly compete.

226 with SRT is my choice.
Don't leave out the M&P Pro or even the FNS. Both were build with competition in mind. The FNS was designed with a good bit of feedback from FN's team shooters and it shows
Of the list, a Glock 34. The CZs are decent, but they require some work to get truly competition ready.
If you carry a 1911, a 9mm version would be the ticket. I've had a couple and they were great. If you go that route, invest in the Wilson ETM mags to keep it running.

It starts around 6:30. It's a blast! Usually 20-25 people show up. Some pretty decent competetion. I've pretty much settled on the Glock 34. Just gotta find one for sale now.
