Best and worst gun stores in northeast ga

Best

Guns and Gear
Lavonia, GA (exit 173 I-85)

GSSF Indoor Matches, GSSF/LE Dealer, Class III, Very good ventilation in the Indoor Range, friendly salespeople and good prices.

Worst

Dana Safety Supply
Sugar Hill, GA

Bad staff (older guy with beard) and the other one standing around not offering any assistance....I was there two weeks ago with wife and had to almost beg the jerk salesperson to show me a Glock 41. It wasn't a blue label pistol and when I asked him when did he expect to have one in stock he replied "your guess is as good as mine".... I asked about the G43 and got the same reply.... we walked out.... have made two previous pistol purchases here, but will not make another.....

trading places pawn in monroe is usually my go-to, pretty spot on with prices/service. They did a pretty sweet cerekote job for my sister in laws gun and they have a great range, not including you can rent full autos for pretty cheap as well.

worst might be dead center in buford, high prices and overall un-welcoming vibe.

Mainstreet Guns in Lilburn has been good to me. I stay away from Bullseye in Lawrenceville, I went in there one time to fire some ammo through a new pistol. I walked off the range with 5 minutes on the clock. Everybody behind the counter was busy and when they got around to me they charged me another $35 because I went over on the time. I explained I was late because the gun clerks were busy and he told me tough ****.

Ummmm...gonna have to call bull**** here. What "clock" and what did they charge you an extra $35 for? The range is like $8/hr. Were you waiting for almost 5 hours?

Mainstreet wanted $600 for a S&W Shield during the last big gun scare, needless to say I will never go back. I mean there is supply and demand and then there is just out and out gouging. I got a great deal on a AAC 300 blackout upper from Clydes Armory and their selection was huge. I also got a good deal at Grand Slam on a Seekin billet lower. Overall the best and most consistent pricing is at Georgia Gun Store, always worth the drive.

When I go there a lane costs me like $8.

This^^ I am always in there. I know some don't like them, but I have always been treated well. Sometimes they are busy and you just have to wait your turn.

Umm Georgia gun store is the best. I live right down thd road from tsg, never have been in there. I guess I never will.
Made my first trip to Ga Gun Store this past week passing by Gainesville on my way back from Clayton. I didn't have time to hang around and really check the place out, just got my $49 lower and headed home. Seemed like good people. I was in and out of there in no time.
