I have come to like bourbon along the way leaning less on beer and the belly. Who here knows bourbon and can recommend some brands that are the best bang for the buck? I've tried Bulliet which is good as well as Knob Creek, Jefferson's Reserve, Woodford's Reserve, Tin Cup which is a little mild, among a few others. Any recommendations in the Bulliet price range that's comparable to the mid shelf in taste and drinkability?

I pour Blantons, almost exclusively, not sure how it compares in cost.
Bourbons are like craft beers... The market has exploded. I'd continue to try a few different ones till ya find one ya really like.

You hit 3 of my go to bourbons. Knob Creek, Jefferson's Reserve, and Woodford Reserve. I've heard good things about Four Roses and Buffalo Trace but haven't personally tried them.

Makers 46 is my newest favorite. Bookers is good but pricey.

    It is my go-to.

I didn't specify single barrel though because the regular is less expensive and it is actually good as well.
