Best Bourbon that doesn't break the bank?

I met a guy that drank a ton of Lord Calvert. He wasn’t a lord and his last name wasn’t Calvert. He was a crazy sum*****.

Was he Canadian like the whiskey?

I have started drinking “manhattans” up lately.
A good Rye or Makers or Pendleton’s all are great.

For years I hated bourbon .... well Jim Beam and Southern Comfort which aren’t really drinkable anyway

The Elijah Craig, Small Batch is wonderful and is probably my favorite on that list.

But for my daily night cap, it this. $24.99 a handle, and very clean taste.

Admittedly, I also have quite a collection of Tin Cup shot cups.

This is 20.00 bucks at my local store. I’m on my second handle. It’s 80 proof and all the 90 proofers will diss it but it is very good. I have 20 different bourbons in my cabinet and I go back to this over and over with the price point and the taste.

Which bourbon is gonna make my head the least achey and foggy. Used to be able to drink Whiskey all night and wake up fresh. Now after a bottle or three of Woodford Reserve I wake up with a bit of a headache. Serious Question
I have been trying Irish whiskey lately cuz the Germans seem to only make beer.
