Best Bourbon that doesn't break the bank?

How you drink your bourbon makes a difference and I think most people here will agree that neat, rocks and rocks with water are acceptable depending on the pour. That said, there have been some really good recommendations within your price point as well as some worthy of a splash of coke. Your taste for a neat bourbon may not be same as someone else's and vice-versa. Explore your palette to see what you like that suits your drinking style and/or mood, and stock your bourbon locker accordingly. And remember, bourbons make great Father's Day, birthday, Christmas etc...gifts so develop your wish list early.

Ha!!! I had a 1/2 pour of OGD 100 and a 1/2 pour of Elijah 12, poured it together on a couple of rocks and it was damn good!

Eagle Rare- good stuff by starting to get to pricey
Wellers 7yr or I think it's 10 I think bonded, been a while since I bought it.

Corsair triple smoke mentioned in this thread. That is a "craft bourbon". Tastes like crap
Pappy 21 year at bar price......tastes great but damn $95 a pour

Pfft, you obviously aren't a scotch drinker. If you're expecting Corsair Triple Smoke to taste like Wild Turkey, that's as bad as a soccer mom bitching that her pheasant doesn't taste like chicken.
