Best cheap seafood in Savannah?

I used to live in Savannah and my favorite place was Loves seafood... it's on the water... world famous and usually pretty busy. Best seafood I've ever had. Enjoy Savannah. I miss it dearly.

Love's is pretty good, and we used to eat at Desposito's quite often--Enjoyed the TONS of Boiled Shrimp for not a whole lot of $$$--LOL!

Try Coco's. It's on the right just as you cross bridge...turn right at the "Welcome to Tybee Island" sign.

Crab stew and fried shrimp are spectacular. Eat inside and then slip up on the top deck at sunset.

Best sunset in the area.

We've been in Savannah for 20 years now. Pearls in town and McElwees on Tybee are our go to places for sea food. Crab Shack is for tourist. Can't stand having a dozen cats roaming around while I eat.
Can't say about Loves, have not been there since first coming to town. If you want to stay down town then Huey's as said before is good.

Why in the hell would someone want "cheap" seafood in Savannah?
Hell, just go to Long John Silvers bruh.

They don't have them in Savannah anymore. Been gone for a few years now. :(

I can't believe nobody said this yet:

Very good and inexpensive
This is your "good and cheap" answer, and it's really just ok, except for their shrimp. Otherwise, hit a seafood market like "southside seafood" where you can get anything fried or boiled with butter sauce for a dollar extra per pound.

I'm not a seafood eater, but should cheap and seafood be in the same sentence?

Yes they should be; and there was a time when it was true. My family moved to Florida shortly after the war ended in 1945. I ate seafood until I got to the point where I couldn't stand the smell of salt water. We didn't necessarily eat it because it was good....we ate it because it was cheaper than anything else. Unfortunately, someone deemed it to be a healthy choice and the prices went up with the demand.
