Done last night.
Shrimp fresh from City Market on Gloucester St. in Brunswick, homemade cocktail sauce, bowl of coastal cole slaw, Ore-Ida french fries, lots of adult beverages consumed.
All that’s left of 3# of large shrimp…
They’re off to tour Jekyll Island this morning, I’m left home on KP duty.
for fried shrimp there's none better than B & J's in Darien. You can pay more elsewhere for views and ambiance but to fill up on great fried shrimp save yourself some money and hit B & J's in Darien.
Still gonna vote for Iguana’s on SSI for best fried shrimp, oysters and scallops.
Going there for dinner tonight, last night was Bennie’s Red Barn for a large serving of broiled scallops.
Shrimp Thursday, scallops last night, guess that means oysters tonight.
Just north of Darian, this is one of those places that is so run down looking and so far back in the woods that only the locals go to it. It's not unusual to watch them unload fish from the boat.

Sir, I just saw your post, so this is a late reply. My favorite fried shrimp is on Jekyll Island at the Jekyll Market Store in the commercial area near the beach. They have a take out grill called Love Shack that does very nice fried shrimp and oysters.
