Best low light scope for the $$

In your opinion what is the best low light hunting scope for the $$. I really like leupold vx-5 but it’s pricey. Any suggestions?

i just got a Vortex Crossfire HD 4x12x44 illuminated reticle. Around $250 .. I can see deer at dusk through it that i cant see with my naked eye. the reticle is similar to Léopold fire dot . I love it.

So far I can't say anything bad about Leupold. Been using them for decades now. 50mm objective with a 30mm tube will do a lot for light transmission, but they're expensive

Meopta R1 7x56 is bar none the most low light performance you will get for the money. Next.
